basic Buddhism weekends

image alt text

These special courses are designed to introduce the basic teachings and practices of Buddhism, focussing on topics such as "What is the mind?", "What is karma", "What happens after we die?" and "What is the most meaningful use of our human life?" A popular course for beginners, the weekend includes talks, guided meditations, discussion, and plenty of opportunities to ask questions, as well as healthy eating, countryside walks (weather permitting!) and plenty of time just to sit back and relax.

The course is led by experienced Buddhist Teachers, who can answer any questions you may have and explain Buddhist view and practice from a practical point of view, relevant to our busy modern lives. Everyone is welcome to attend and enjoy these relaxing and thought-provoking weekend courses. See below for our programme of upcoming courses; please call to book on +44 (0)1283 732338, or email us to book, or for more information.
